Abstract  

Technical drawing presented consists of several framework and content
are appropriate if the order of presentation is organized in such a way of presenting
things that are commonly followed by a more profound elaborate on specific matters.
This  research  method  is  a  quasi-experimental  methods.  Through  this  design  will
involve two groups of samples of each set as the experimental group using direct and
indirect learning  strategies in learning technical drawing subjects. The results are:
(1)  the  students  learn  drawing  techniques  with  direct  learning  strategy  is  better
than indirect. Walaupuan in high and low achievers motif using a direct learning
strategy is better than using the indirect learning strategies, (2) The student who
has  a  better  motive  than  the  high  achievers  with  low  achievers  motif.  High
achievement  motive  to  learn  drawing  techniques  get  results  better  than  the  low
achievement  motive,  and  (3)  students  who  have  high  achievement  motive  will  be
more  effective  to  improve  learning  outcomes  if  the  engineering  drawings  using
problem-based learning strategies than low achievers who have a motive.
