Abstract  

Cause of the difficulty in finding a vocational school graduate and one of
them is a job opening in addition to low skills are also coupled with the knowledge,
application, ability and encouragement to entrepreneurship is still relatively limited.
Entrepreneurship  students  are  subjects  that  affect  the  development  of  basic
vocational  competencies.  This  research  method  is  a  quasi-experimental  methods.
Through  this  design  will  involve  two  groups  of  samples  of  each  set  as  the
experimental  group  by  using  a  strategy  of  organizing  learning  in  the  elaboration
and  the  expository  teaching  of  entrepreneurship  subjects.  The  results  are:  (1)  the
study of entrepreneurship students with learning strategy elaboration is better than
expository  strategy.  High  achievers  and  low  motives,  students  are  taught  to  use
elaboration learning strategies better than expository strategy, (2) student learning
outcomes that have a high achievement motive is better than low achievers who have
a motive.
